Review

I first started making quilts when I met my husband's grandfather. He patiently taught me how to piece quilts and encouraged me ever step of the way! One day, he suggested that I buy a quilting machine so that I could quilt our quilts. I agreed wholeheartedly, even though I had never even seen one! Once I started quilting our quilts, I realized that I loved it even more than making the quilts. I started taking customer quilts and spent the next 9 years honing my craft.     Writing this book was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I wrote it to  encourage people to try quilting their own quilts, just as Grandpa had done for me. I hope that machine quilting brings the reader as much joy as it has brought me!Since being encouraged to start machine quilting by her grandfather 9 years ago, Angela Walters has been quilting, teaching and writing.  With a deep appreciation for traditional quilting, she has found a niche quilting modern quilts. She is the author of two books, Free-Motion Quilting with Angela Walters and In the Studio with Angela Walters. She shares completed quilts and tips on her blog Quiltingismytherapy.com
